Career

Mary Grigoryan advises financial institutions, regulated businesses, and corporate clients on the full spectrum of banking and financial services law in Armenia. Her practice centres on regulatory compliance — including AML/CFT frameworks, licensing requirements, and supervisory obligations — as well as corporate governance structuring and transactional support. Foreign financial institutions and fintech operators entering the Armenian market regularly instruct her to navigate the local regulatory landscape.

Called to the Armenian Bar in 2018, Mary brings over a decade of experience in financial services and corporate law. She has developed particular expertise in AML/CFT compliance programmes, advising clients on the design and implementation of internal controls that meet both Armenian statutory requirements and international best practice standards.

Mary holds a Master's degree in Law from the American University of Armenia and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Yerevan State University.
