Partner

Marine Shahparonyan is a Partner at MB Legal and heads the firm's M&A, corporate, and tax practice. She advises international and domestic clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and tax structuring in Armenia, frequently handling matters where legal and fiscal considerations are closely intertwined. Her ability to advise simultaneously on transactional legal structure and Armenian tax implications makes her a particularly efficient resource for cross-border investors.

Before joining MB Legal in 2022, Marine spent a decade as Senior Manager of the Legal Department at Grant Thornton Armenia, where she developed her M&A and corporate advisory expertise within an international professional services environment. That background means she is accustomed to working alongside auditors, tax advisers, and financial due diligence teams on complex multi-workstream transactions — the standard demanded by international financial institutions and private equity buyers.

Marine has been a licensed advocate of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia since 2015. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in International Business Law.
