Career

Mesrop Manukyan is a Founding Partner of MB Legal and leads the firm's corporate and transactional practice. He advises international and domestic clients on M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, commercial contracts, and public-private partnership projects in Armenia, with particular focus on the technology, telecommunications, and capital markets sectors. Foreign investors and multinational companies regularly instruct him on market entry structuring and cross-border transactions requiring an Armenian law component.

Mesrop's practice is grounded in extensive in-house experience: prior to establishing MB Legal in 2020, he served as General Counsel of OneDapp (Shanghai) and held senior legal and management roles at the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) and IDeA Foundation. He has also advised major organisations including High Voltage Electric Networks and Ucom on complex transactional and regulatory matters. This client-side background gives him an unusually practical commercial perspective on the matters he handles.

He holds an MBA from London Business School (2024) and an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge. Since 2016, Mesrop has lectured in corporate and transactional law at the American University of Armenia.
