Career

Rachael E. Thompson is a Houston-based energy litigator who represents clients in a diverse array of complex commercial matters across the oil and gas industry. She has experience defending and litigating cases in both federal and state courts, as well as before international arbitration tribunals. She is skilled in all aspects of dispute resolution, from initial negotiation through motion practice and trial.

Prior to entering private practice, Rachael clerked for the Honorable Ewing Werlein, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She also served as an intern for the Honorable Lee Rosenthal in the Southern District of Texas. Rachael applies these judicial insights to provide strategic counsel to her clients.
