Carolyn pursued her tertiary studies at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws conjoint degree, majoring in English, as a Senior Scholar and a recipient of the Philip Sidney Ardern Memorial Prize for her performance in English. She then returned to Malaysian shores to complete the Certificate in Legal Practice.
