Anita Canta specialises in franchise law and commercial contracts and assists businesses at every stage of their commercial partnerships, from drafting contracts through to dispute resolution. Her clients include companies operating nationally and internationally in sectors such as retail, food, professional services, manufacturing and e-commerce. Anita contributes her expertise to the design of franchise formulas, distribution models and trade networks, asking incisive questions about the alignment between contract and practice, the allocation of risk and the consequences in the event of termination or conflict. In addition, she has a strong litigation practice and acts in proceedings before the courts and tribunals on commercial disputes, including franchise relationships, contract interpretation, performance, termination and damages.
