Tomáš Rydvan has nearly 25 years of experience in public procurement and tender law.

Tomáš Rydvan's excellent knowledge of the complex EU and national regulatory framework makes him a sought-after advisor for both contracting authorities and bidders in strategically important tenders. The uniqueness of his approach lies in the combination of his detailed knowledge of PPP projects, his expertise in subsidised EU Operational Programme contracts and his specialisation in the fast-growing technology, media and telecoms sectors. With this multi-disciplinary perspective, he provides clients with a holistic view when navigating complex procurement processes.

Tomáš Rydvan heads the firm's Intellectual Property practice and combines IP with deep expertise in IT and TMT. He provides long-term legal services to a number of IT companies and to the IT Department of the City of Prague, assisting with the acquisition of software, hardware and other IP licences used to improve the City's internal management and electronic services for residents – making him one of the most experienced Czech advisers on public-sector IP.

Tomáš Rydvan also co-heads the TMT practice. He specialises in the preparation of private and public tendering documentation for IT implementation projects and the subsequent contractual documentation, combining deep TMT expertise with his leading position in public procurement – a combination that makes him the first-choice adviser for the public sector's most complex technology acquisitions.
