Employment & Immigration

I’m an Associate, working in both the Employment and Immigration teams. When wearing my employment hat, I advise businesses and individuals on all aspects of Employment law. I particularly enjoy working alongside clients in respect of HR processes including grievance, disciplinary, sickness, performance redundancy and preparing employment contracts and staff handbooks. I’m also experienced in litigation and have worked on a range of matters for both individuals and businesses, from whistleblowing and discrimination to unfair dismissal, redundancy and equal pay claims.

In terms of my immigration work, I have a keen interest in assisting businesses to navigate the complex and often incomprehensible rules and policies set by the Home Office. I have worked with various UK organisations to secure them a sponsor licence so that they can expand and grow their business by employing a broad range of international talent. I also work with businesses, and individuals, in respect of a wide range of visa applications, from work (Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Frontier Worker), to personal and family (Indefinite Leave to Remain, Naturalisation, Spouse).

Having previously completed my pre and post graduate studies, I am now in the process of cross-qualifying via CILEx, so that I can practice as a solicitor. Michelmores is facilitating my journey and has been incredibly supportive in encouraging me to pursue this alternative route to qualification. Unlike other legal firms I have worked at, Michelmores promotes an open and conscientious culture, which allows its employees to grow and succeed in many ways.
