Dr. Bahaa Alieldean H. Dessouki is the Managing Partner of Alieldean Weshahi & Partners and a leading authority in capital markets, banking, and financial law. With over 25 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, Dr. Bahaa has advised a wide range of national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public entities on complex, high-value transactions across Egypt.
He has served as legal counsel to major Egyptian banks and top-tier companies, leading on intricate, multi-million-dollar financing deals. Over the past decade alone, Dr. Bahaa has advised issuers on more than 30 securitization transactions—playing a pivotal role in shaping the legal framework and deal execution standards for Egypt’s debt capital market.
Dr. Bahaa’s blend of legal expertise, regulatory insight, and academic scholarship places him at the forefront of legal innovation and financial market development in Egypt.
