Dr. Weshahi focuses on mega-developments, public procurement, complex construction agreements and regulatory affairs.
Since 2016, Dr. Weshahi led the team advising on the set-up of many state-owned companies within different fields, including industrial and urban development, construction, asset management, and tourism and mining. Amongst other mandates.
Weshahi focuses on project financing deals, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has previously served as a partner at a leading regional law firm, where he worked with national and international clients on matters of commercial and corporate law, such as IPO’s, share sales and transfers, due diligence processes, mergers and acquisitions, distribution and licensing agreements, and drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
Dr. Weshahi advised on the structure and establishment of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), the developer of the New Administrative Capital.
He participated in the preparation of many laws and regulations, including the Blood and Plasma Operations Law No. 8 of 2021.
Dr. Ahmed is an Associate Professor of Commercial Law, and the Faculty of Law, Cairo University he also teaches at various institutions around Egypt on the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and previously was the head of the English law department at Cairo University.
