Tim Kirfield
Tim represents clients who have suffered life-changing injuries through all different types of accident including road traffic collisions, accidents at work, public liability as well as others. He has acted on behalf of clients who have sustained a variety of injuries including polytrauma (orthopaedic), brain injury, spinal injury and pain management disorders.
He always strives to ensure his clients receive the best care and support from the outset as he recognises that as well as sustaining a life-changing injury, the whole claim process itself can be rather daunting. He also focuses on his clients receiving the appropriate rehabilitation as soon as possible in order to aid recovery, be it through case management or utilising the available statutory services.
He studied Law at the University of Essex before going on to complete his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Guildford. He worked as a Paralegal in a busy, local, personal injury firm for 18 months following completion of his LPC before securing a Training Contract as an in-house Trainee at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. After qualifying as a solicitor in August 2013, he decided that he wanted to return to personal injury and he has been solely representing injured persons ever since.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and his young daughter and he is an avid DIYer. He is also a keen supporter of Tottenham Hotspur football club.
Once a month, he volunteers at a local disability snow sports group called Alpine Snowsports Aldershot for the Disabled and he is a trained Boccia leader.
Trevor Sterling
Trevor handles a wide range of personal injury claims related to health and social care cases, and has considerable experience managing inquests and inquiries. With over thirty years’ experience in the legal profession, his clients are those who have suffered serious injury or disability through no fault of their own.
Trevor helps clients with a wide range of personal injury claims and has a special interest in major trauma cases, particularly brain injury, spinal injury and amputations. He has considerable experience handling inquests and inquiries and was commended by Chambers UK guide for having a “significant reputation” as an “extremely polished performer” offering “high levels of expertise”.
He has been involved in a number of serious and highly publicised investigations that have had substantial national significance. In 2008, he received the Bar and Law Society’s ‘Rising Star: Advocate In The Face Of Adversity’ award following success in a landmark employer’s liability suicide, heard in the House of Lords. He also has significant media experience having featured in the print press and on TV, with appearances most notably on BBC Newsnight and Channel 4’s Dispatches.
Trevor joined Moore Blatch in 2015 as a partner, and his work takes him across all of the firm’s offices in order to build relationships with health and social care providers in and around London and the South.
Amandeep Khasriya
Amandeep has over 12 years experience in running complex and high value major trauma claims. She currently acts for individuals and their families who have suffered serious and life-changing injuries or death.
Having represented clients from a variety of backgrounds, she offers one-to-one support throughout the litigation process. She works closely with her clients and their families to investigate the case thoroughly. Her practice is to focus on the immediate needs of the injured victim and her in depth knowledge of the Rehabilitation Code 2015 ensures that rehabilitation runs alongside the litigation process. This allows her client to receive timely and appropriate care with the aim of making the claims process as easy as possible for them.
Her modern and collaborative approach reduces delays, improves outcomes for her clients and ensures that the claim is client-centred.
Amandeep's background in medical negligence means that she is trained to meticulously analyse the medical and expert evidence in each individual case in order to maximise compensation and to secure funding for her client's long term needs.
She regularly presents to clinicians and nurses at NHS Trusts and charities on the Claimant’s perspective, Claimant case studies and the impact of injury in a claim.
She speaks Punjabi and Hindi and she is a legal volunteer support worker at two local charities.
She is passionate about diversity and inclusion. She is a committee member of The Law Society’s Women Lawyers Division and an active campaigner in The Law Society the Women in Leadership project including, ‘Diversity and equality – why it’s so important’, ‘Retaining talented women – small changes see big rewards’ and ‘Time to redouble our efforts for equal representation’ for The Law Society Gazette. Amandeep also proudly co-founded the Women in Leadership Group and Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Moore Barlow.
Matthew Claxson
Matthew is an experienced serious injury solicitor who specialises in accessing rehabilitation for people who have suffered major trauma. He also represents at inquest those who have been bereaved. His clients are those who have, through no fault of their own, suffered brain injury, spinal cord injury, limb loss, complex fractures or bereavement either in the UK or abroad. On their behalf, he claims compensation from the party at fault. An important part of this process is to secure payments as quickly as possible (interim payments) to support rehabilitation.
Many of Matthew's clients are people who have suffered major brain or spinal cord injuries, and the families of fatal incident victims.
Damian Horan
Damian is a vastly experienced neuro trauma solicitor who has successfully concluded some of the most complex and high value brain and spinal cord injury claims in the UK in recent years.
Widely regarded as one of the most experienced catastrophic injury solicitors in the UK, I have an incredibly successful track record in achieving fantastic outcomes for the clients I represent. All my cases are brought in the High Court in London and almost all of the settlements I achieve result in seven and eight figure compensation payments for my clients.
There are few solicitors in the country who can match the experience I have acquired over the last 30 years dealing with complex personal injury claims.
His clients come from across the UK and internationally, and I have significant experience of acting in cases where the injury was sustained abroad, or where liability is denied. He has particular experience and expertise of acting in cases where there is both a severe spinal cord and brain injury trauma. He has acted for many years as a professional deputy and understand the interface between the litigation claim process and the court of protection for our clients who lack capacity to conduct their own litigation or manage their financial affairs.
In 2017 he was shortlisted by the Law Society for UK solicitor of the year in recognition of the work he does in supporting people who have sustained catastrophic injuries and the charities who also support them. He is also an ambassador for CBIT, the national charity which supports children with acquired brain injury and he regularly participate in fundraising events.

Fadwa Errhioui
Fadwa is a Partner in the firm’s serious injury team and specialises in high value, complex claims representing both adults and children. She is passionate about the work she does and helps her clients with arranging private medical treatment, rehabilitation and securing the best possible settlement.
Fadwa's clients are nationwide and she likes to maintain regular contact by visiting them at their home, in hospital or at rehabilitation centres.
As most of her clients have suffered life changing injuries, Fadwa's primary concern is always to ensure they have early access to rehabilitation and treatment. She puts in place a team of support to help optimise their recovery and takes a proactive approach liaising and meeting with the therapists, case managers and consultants.
She always looks to secure early interim payments where possible as she understands just how difficult life can be for her clients and their families following an accident.
Fadwa works closely with charities and frequently participates in their fund raising events.
Emma Potter
Emma has many years of experience representing adults and children, who have had accidents, no matter how they have happened.
Her particular specialism is chronic pain conditions (the physical and psychological aspects) and in particular Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). She is also interested in accidents at work and the associated health and safety issues. She is also quite happy to take over cases from other firms of solicitors.
It is important to work with clients to understand what is in their best interests and what they want and need out of pursuing a personal injury claim.
Out of the office, her two boys keep her busy! If she then has any spare time, she enjoys growing her own fruit and vegetables and cooking the results, for family and friends.
Helen Goatley
Partner acting for claimants in maximum severity personal injury claims and clinical negligence cases. She has achieved a particular reputation for her work on behalf of the victims of brain injury and was for many years the chairman of APIL’s brain injury group. She has had notable successes in heavily disputed cerebral palsy claims.
