José Luis Álvarez is a lawyer specialized in tax law, corporate law, public procurement and infrastructure projects, with 10 years of experience advising both the public and private sectors.

At the governmental level, he collaborated in the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and in the Comptroller's Office of the State of Aguascalientes, where he participated in the design and supervision of regulatory compliance and auditing strategies.

In the private sector, he has held management positions at GAPS, S.C., a specialized consulting firm, and Veolia Environnement, a transnational environmental solutions company, leading regulatory compliance and corporate strategy projects.

He is a member of the Academy of Law of the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial (EBC), Campus Aguascalientes, where he teaches Business Law and Private International Law.

In 2023, the prestigious publication The Legal 500 recognized him as one of the top 500 corporate lawyers in Mexico, within the Rising Stars category.
