Ravichandra is a Co-founder Partner with Parinam Law Associates. Prior to setting up Parinam Law Associates, Ravichandra was a Partner with J. Sagar Associates heading the Securities Litigation and Advisory Team at the Mumbai office. His practice covers diverse areas of litigation and advisory work on various securities, corporate, commercial, civil, business and mercantile laws. He specialises in matters of securities litigation and advisory, white-collar crimes and securities laws.

Ravichandra has been actively involved in high stakes and complex matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, High Courts, Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT), National Company Law Tribunals, Special Courts and tribunals. He regularly appears before the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the stock exchanges in matters pertaining to securities law and defending various intermediaries in the securities market. He regularly advises Foreign Portfolio Investors, Venture Capital Funds, mutual funds, stock-brokers, stock exchanges and other securities market intermediaries and self-regulatory organisations. On the advisory side, Ravichandra advises various companies on issues pertaining to insider trading regulations, takeovers and private equity, listing regulations and on compliance issues. He has also conducted internal audits and forensic audits for clients.

Ravichandra has been regularly advising the clients in relation to various investigation by the premier agencies in India. His Team has extensive experience in representing corporate houses, financial institutions, stock exchanges, a depository, intermediaries and individuals in quasi-judicial proceedings before authorities such as SEBI, the (former) Forward Markets Commission (FMC) and the stock exchanges.
