Yu Jing’s practice focuses on Corporate M&A, Investments, and Capital Markets, with a particular emphasis on public market-driven mandates. He provides a robust foundation for the firm’s high-level corporate advisory across both private and public deal environments, executing complex domestic and cross-border transactions, takeovers, and privatizations. His expertise encompasses joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate and commercial transactions for a diverse range of clients, including multi-national corporations (MNCs), government-linked corporations (GLCs), listed companies, and financial institutions.

Yu Jing is well-versed in navigating initial public offerings (IPOs) on both Bursa Malaysia and foreign stock exchanges. His technical proficiency includes managing secondary offerings such as bonus issues, private placements, and rights issues, as well as serving as legal advisor on various corporate exercises involving Malaysian listed companies.

His corporate and commercial services include assisting clients with business incorporations, the structuring of foreign direct investments (FDI), and the establishment of local branches and subsidiaries. Yu Jing has advised and dealt with clients across a wide array of industries, including FMCG, healthcare, real estate, construction, manufacturing, retail, education, automotive, and technology. Throughout his career, he has successfully facilitated a number of key corporate transactions, ensuring a seamless bridge between regulatory compliance and commercial objectives

Apart from English and Malay, he is also fluent in Mandarin and can communicate effectively in professional settings. This multilingual proficiency is an added advantage for his clients when advising, negotiating and discussing deals especially deals involving Mainland Chinese corporations in diverse legal matters including direct investments, joint ventures, formation of strategic alliances and other corporate advisory matters in Malaysia.
