Willem Berendsen is co-founder of LXA Advocaten and leads the Insolvency and Restructuring team. He assists entrepreneurs, directors and investors with reorganisations, restructurings, (re)financing and bankruptcies. In high-stakes situations, he helps clients maintain an overview and make decisions that create room for a restart or a controlled conclusion.

Willem regularly acts as a receiver and administrator and knows how the interests of different stakeholders converge – and clash. He uses this knowledge to realise solutions that are not only legally sound, but also work in practice.
