Crispine is the Co- Founder and Senior partner at KO Associates LLP and practices in the Projects, Energy & Infrastructure as well as the Corporate & Commercial practice groups. His expertise includes corporate M&A, Project Finance, Transport & infrastructure, Energy Law, PPPs, Public Procurement Law, EAC Treaty Law, Technology and Media.
With over 20 years of experience, Crispine has consulted and provided transaction advisory to local and international clients from M&A, private equity, trade & investment, and Infrastructure projects. He has advised on many headline infrastructure developments, financing and acquisitions in East Africa including several Geothermal and Solar Energy generation projects with a combined capacity of 310MW, first mover roads PPP programme in Kenya, USD. 20 Billion LAPSSET Corridor Development project, Proposed Mombasa and Lamu Port Concessions, development of Konza technology city (Konza Technopolis), and development of four Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in East Africa.
In Corporate M&A he has advised on various mergers and financings involving AIG, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), National Social Security Fund, KENGEN, Ahadi Wireless Corp, Jubilee Holdings, Quickmart Supermarkets and National Treasury. He has been Legal Expert in the multi-sector and multi donor funded EAC Trade and Transport Facilitation Project (EATTF), technical advisory to the East Africa Trade and Investment Hub (EATIH) on an Investment Diagnostic for Kenya, Consulted for the IFC in the study for the EAC Common Market Scored Card.
