    Career

    Practice: Christian has a strong background in regulated industries, with particular expertise in public procurement, infrastructure contracts, and compliance. His practice focuses on public service delegation and economic regulation. Christian’s work spans key sectors such as sanitation, energy, telecommunications, financial services, port operations, as well as management of road, airport, and railway concessions.  

    Christian has been involved in drafting projects and tenders for traditional concessions and public-private partnerships (PPPs). He has strong expertise in contractual rebalance procedures and analysis of regulatory frameworks. 

    Career: Before joining Giamundo Neto Advogados, Christian worked as Partner at Mazzucco & Mello Advogados and at Tojal, Teixeira Ferreira, Serrano & Renault Advogados. 

    Education: Christian holds an LLB (2004) from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), and an LLM (2008) in Law, Theory, and Philosophy of Law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He also holds an LLM (2015) in Development Economics and International Development from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, an LLM (Year) in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), and a postgraduate degree (Year) in Economic Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). 

    Academic credentials, speaking engagements, etc: Christian worked as a professor at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and has co-authored significant works including comments to Brazil's Procurement Law. He is currently professor of administrative law, economic law and compliance at Escola Superior de Engenharia e Gestão de São Paulo - ESEG
