Position

Duncan is a Partner in the corporate team and has over a decade’s worth of experience advising individuals, companies, LLPs and partnerships on a wide range of matters including domestic and international M&A (acting for both seller and purchaser), MBOs, restructuring and reorganisations, private equity backed investments, joint ventures, employee ownership trusts and succession planning.

Clients have praised his affable manner and his ability to distil complex legal points into accessible terms so that they can make clear decisions.

Career

Duncan trained at and spent a number of years practicing at well-established regional firms before joining KPMG to help establish a legal team in the South.

Having gained a wide range of experience advising international and domestic clients and working closely alongside tax and accounting colleagues at KPMG, Duncan joined Boyes Turner as a partner in January 2025.

Education

Duncan studied law at the University of Reading before undertaking the LPC at the College of Law, Guildford, for which he obtained a Distinction.

Personal

Outside of work Duncan is a keen snowboarder and enjoys running and cycling. Before having two children, Duncan raced internationally as a downhill skateboarder.
