Legal advice on commercial and corporate laws, including FDI and OI, amongst others.

Legal advice on variety of employment law issues, employment policies and documentation, employee disputes and labour audits.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Advised US based multinational in its settlement with the existing India management team, including assistance in successfully acquisition of shares of India management team pursuant to the settlement. Advised a public sector bank in its acquisition of significant minority shareholding in a JV company engaged in the life insurance business. Advised a large media house in acquisition of broadcasting business from a group company on a slump sale basis. Advised a multinational IT company in an acquisition of Indian company through share swap. Advised an online content platform in its funding rounds from angel round to series D. Represented a large energy company in transaction involving sale of hydro power business. Represented a large Indian company engaged in fashion and retail business in multiple transactions involving acquisition of various lifestyle brands from various targets companies.
