Career

Advisor and entrepreneur – since 2005, Rafał Olesiński has been building and managing a modern legal and tax advisory company, currently comprising more than a hundred associated with offices in four Polish cities. He is a lawyer by education, and his passion is for advising – on the law, taxes, and business.

He designs, develops, and manages strategic change processes (e.g. new technologies, digitisation, internationalisation, restructuring) and investments (new plants, mergers and acquisitions, JV). Rafał solves business problems and advises in crisis situations. As a strategic advisor, he participates in negotiations, including at the international level, and represents entrepreneurs in talks with the Polish government.

He shares his experience as a mentor in acceleration programs dedicated to start-ups and as a speaker at conferences and training courses. He is an active participant in the Open Eyes Economy movement.

Rafał Olesiński is one of the leaders forming a European network of consulting companies. He abandoned his career at a Big4 firm to build a modern consulting group (OW Group) providing comprehensive legal and tax advisory services (Olesiński & Wspólnicy), accounting (OW Accounting & Payroll), and financial and analytical (OW Analytics) services.

Rafał serves as an expert for supervisory boards and management boards of companies, including listed companies, funds, and institutional investors. He is a member of supervisory boards and Audit Committees at Ten Square Games SA (where he is the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board), Izoblok SA, Izoblok GmbH.

Actively involved in the affiliation of the OW Group to the Chamber of e-Commerce (e-Izba), the major organization for entities operating in the digital field.
