Caroline is head of Cirio’s Data Privacy group. She has more than 20 years’ experience of international data protection and has served as legal and strategic advisor to companies in the IT, media, telecommunications, energy, finance and biotech sectors. Caroline’s broad experience in data privacy covers a wide range of operational, compliance, regulatory, strategic and policy aspects.

She has advised some of the world’s largest organisations on issues such as international data transfers, regulatory compliance and product development. Additionally, Caroline served as Vice President Privacy at Klarna Bank, managing its Global Privacy Office and having global responsibility for Klarna group’s data protection strategy and compliance.

Clients benefit from Caroline’s substantial expertise in data protection issues ranging from GDPR compliance to acting as a data protection officer. Additionally, she has represented high-profile clients in administrative court proceedings.
