Senior Associate

Harshda Bakshi is a Senior Associate and a key member of the firm’s Payments practice. She works closely with leading players in the payments ecosystem, including payment aggregators and PPI issuers.

She regularly advises on the legal and commercial aspects of payment regulation, including payment aggregation and licensing (such as applications for payment aggregator licences, PPI licences, SEBI licences, and PFRDA licences), deployment of card solutions, prepaid payment instruments, and cross-border remittances. Harshda has also been an integral part of teams that have drafted representative submissions to the RBI on behalf of major payments players, including on issues relating to tokenisation and card data localisation.
