Commercial and Civil Litigation
Position
Senior Litigation Executive at Witan Solicitors specialising in commercial and civil litigation, with particular interest in breach of contract, company and insolvency disputes, property litigation, and contentious probate. Felicity has strong litigation experience and offers clients practical legal advice combined with a thorough and empathetic approach. She is skilled at explaining complex legal principles clearly and in a way clients find easy to understand, and is known for her attention to detail when drafting and her confident, well-prepared advocacy.
Career
Felicity joined Witan Solicitors in October 2025 as a Senior Litigation Executive, having previously spent over two years as a litigation paralegal at a regional law firm where she ran her own caseload of commercial and property matters (both residential and commercial), drafted witness statements, letters of claim and instructions to counsel, and prepared and served Section 8, Section 25 and break notices.
Shortly after joining Witan, she assisted on a successful application for an injunction to halt the sale of a castle in the south of England, where receivers were proposing to sell at a price significantly below market value. She has also advised on and drafted an injunction application to restrain the presentation of a winding-up petition against a property management company, which was successfully obtained, and went on to apply for the dismissal of the petition — which the Court granted, with costs recovered for the client. Felicity is also part of the team advising a high-net-worth European family on a substantial cross-border insolvency dispute, in which the firm is acting opposite tier-one City litigation practices. She has further undertaken her own advocacy in contested property proceedings.
Her advocacy and Bar training is reinforced by mini-pupillages at Five Paper (company law), Ten Old Square (private client) and St Philips Chambers (commercial), where she gained exposure to unfair prejudice petitions, contractual interpretation and a civil fraud trial.
