Airton Bombardeli Riella is a managing partner at Rafael Pandolfo Advogados Associados and, with over 20 years of experience, combines strategic vision with technical precision. He works in highly complex tax disputes, handling cases of different natures, aimed at both the cancellation of relevant tax assessments and the recovery of tax credits. He also has outstanding knowledge in cases involving issues of tax liability and measures of asset unavailability, such as incidents of piercing of the corporate veil, recognition of economic group and tax precautionary measures.

Since 2011, he has been responsible for the technical management of judicial litigation, coordinating multidisciplinary teams that combine in-depth knowledge of Tax Law and refined expertise in Civil Procedure. Prior to that, he worked in all areas of consulting, accumulating experience in tax consulting, drafting legal opinions and administrative defences.

Under his leadership, the firm's litigation team achieves paradigmatic decisions and maintains high success rates, with agile, well-founded procedural strategies adapted to the specificities of each case and the needs of each client. His work is recognised in state, federal and superior courts, especially in disputes with significant financial impact.

He is also responsible for handling pro bono cases in the firm, selecting and directly conducting demands aligned with the institutional policy aimed at promoting equal access to justice.
