Fabrizio Jacobacci is the founding partner of Jacobacci Avvocati.
With over thirty-five years of experience assisting clients in intellectual property matters, Fabrizio has an unparalleled understanding of the field. While he is particularly known for his work in the telecommunications and life sciences sectors, his global understanding of the subject area allows him to advise in virtually any intellectual property matter, including in litigation and arbitration, as well as on the regulatory aspects arising in the medical devices and pharmaceutical fields.
Over the years, Fabrizio’s leadership of litigation teams in complex trademark and patent matters has made him a recognized and respected figure both in Italy and abroad.
Over the past fifteen years, Fabrizio has been consistently recognized in the top tier of intellectual property lawyers in Italy and Europe by the major legal professional magazines and league tables.
Career
Fabrizio worked with the German law firm Punder, Volhard, Weber & Axter (now Clifford Chance) in Frankfurt in 1988 and subsequently with Linklaters in London in 1989. In 1996 he founded Studio Legale Jacobacci & Associati.

Fabrizio is a frequent speaker at international conferences on intellectual property matters, including for the Intellectual Property Section of the New York State Bar Association, the International Trademark Association, the International Bar Association, Marques and the EPLAW European Patent Law. He is a lecturer at the WIPO post-graduate specialisation course on intellectual property, jointly organized by WIPO and Turin University, and a member of the editorial board of the "European Trademark Reports" published by Sweet & Maxwell.
Education
Fabrizio received his law degree with honors from the University of Turin in 1989 and was admitted to the (Turin) Bar in 1995 and to the Supreme Court, Italy, in 2007.
