Career
John joined Macdonald Henderson’s Litigation team as a senior solicitor in February 2026. Moving from the Dispute Resolution team of a Glasgow-based litigation firm where he began his career as paralegal in the same department.
John has considerable litigation experience having represented clients in Sheriff Courts across Scotland in matters ranging from commercial and consumer disputes to property and contractual disputes. Additionally, John has represented both landlords and tenants in residential tenancy matters; including the instruction of counsel in the successful defence of an appeal to the Court of Session.
Whilst prepared to litigate John approaches cases in practical manner, working with clients to resolve their dispute an efficient, sensible fashion.
