Dispute Resolution and Litigation

Samantha is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team and is based in Glasgow.

She joined Lindsays in 2018 as a trainee and over the past six years has gained practical and in-depth experience litigating on behalf of clients.

Samantha has acted for private individuals and companies providing advice in a diverse range of legal matters, including but not limited to; commercial disputes, contractual disputes, debt recovery and enforcement (including the recovery of rent arrears), and residential property disputes. She has experience acting for both pursuers and defenders in these areas and regularly appears in the Sheriff Court.

Samantha has developed experience in relation to Will and executry disputes as well as Guardianships. She has advised private individuals in relation to executor disputes, professional negligence claims, proving the tenor of a lost Will actions, legal rights claims, recovering debt from a deceased’s estate, Wills challenges and reducing Confirmation.

She is also a Notary Public.

The client-centred approach taken by Samantha along with her attention to detail ensures that her advice is tailored to each of her clients and their particular needs and circumstances. Samantha's pragmatism and consideration of the practical and economic aspects of litigation also ensures that her clients are made aware of any unnecessary or disproportionate expense in pursuance of their claims so that they may avoid the same.
