Rural - Land and Business

Lewis is a Director in our Rural - Land and Business team based in Edinburgh.

He has a wide-ranging practice involving all aspect of rural property. Initially focused on renewable wind and hydro projects for developers and estates respectively, he has expanded his expertise to include a variety of areas.

He has completed numerous complex sales and acquisitions of rural properties ranging from crofting properties, large farming operations, castles and estates. In addition to these he has also acted in several high value forestry transactions.

Recently he has advised on numerous battery storage and solar projects and has experience acting for landowners on telecommunication mast sites, as well as advising on aspects of agricultural tenancies.

He also provides property advice and complete multiple Compulsory Purchase Orders for statutory bodies on infrastructure projects.

Lewis is a member of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association.
