Private Client

Lynsey is a Partner within our Private Client team based in the Edinburgh office. She advises Executors and beneficiaries in the administration of estates, drafts Wills and Powers of Attorney and advises Attorneys on their responsibilities and duties. She also creates and administers Trusts and provides inheritance tax planning advice.

Lynsey has a keen interest in the Third Sector and is involved with the establishment, reorganisation and winding up of Charitable Trusts. She is part of the Firm’s Third Sector team.

Lynsey is a Governor of St Columba’s Hospice which offers palliative care and support to patients and families. She has previously been a Trustee of LifeCare, an Edinburgh based charity providing a flexible range of care, support, community services and social activities for older people. Lynsey is also a Trustee of Ponton House Trust which is a grant making body providing support to vulnerable and disadvantaged children locally.

Lynsey is a member of the Society of Writers to Her Majesty’s Signet and sits on the WS Council.
