Position
I have been recognised as a leading employment practitioner in the UK now for about 25 years - according to the legal directories, as well as being in Legal 500's Hall of Fame in recent years. I am particularly well known for advising on senior level issues, restructurings, litigation and TUPE issues.
I joined Lewis Silkin's employment practice in 2004 and founded our Oxford office with a small team.
My practice is diverse, including a number of household name clients in a variety of sectors. My client-base is particularly strong in the media, entertainment, IT, telecommunications and technology sectors. I often speak and write on employment issues at conferences and in the media. Many of my clients have worked with me for over 20 years.
Internationally, our employment practice (with Ius Laboris) is very powerful and I have put together joined-up solutions for quite a few multinational companies as well as run many international projects. I visit APAC regularly to help to build the profile of our growing Hong Kong office, which I also helped to found that advises both on local law and co-ordinates projects across APAC.
