Andrew Lester
Position
Andrew joined Averta Employment Lawyers in 2018 as an Assistant Solicitor, becoming an Associate Solicitor in 2020 and Partner in 2024. He had many years’ experience, working on a wide variety of employment law matters. He is comfortable acting for directors, senior executives, shareholders and, in addition, businesses of all sizes.
Andrew was formerly a Partner at Bowling & Co Solicitors in London where he headed up the employment law team where he advised SMEs, partnerships and Individuals as well as representing clients at the Employment Tribunal.
His considerable experience means he has developed a comprehensive understanding of contentious and non-contentious issues including unfair, wrongful, and constructive dismissal; discrimination; TUPE; redundancy and business re-organisation; settlement agreements; contracts of employment; handbooks and procedures.
Andrew has also regularly represented both Employees and Employers in the High Court and County Court in matters concerning restrictive covenants and breaches of confidentiality.
