Partner and head of the Travel Litigation Team

Joanne is a Partner in the Travel Litigation team specialising in complex and catastrophic injury claims, and she has achieved numerous multi-million pound settlements which have provided for her clients rehabilitation and future needs. She regularly deals with cases arising from sexual assaults, fatal accidents, aviaton incidents, and maritime cases. She is chair of the American Association of Justice International Practice Section, and is also an acive member of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury lawyers, and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Joanne trained and qualified at Pannone LLP in Manchester specialising in catastrophic injury claims, moving to Slater and Gordon UK LLP upon their acquisition of Pannone and sub specialising in serious injury litigation with a cross border element. Joanne joined JMW to head up their Travel Litigation team in April 2018.

Joanne is proud to be a Trustee of the Headway Salford, Trafford and North Manchester Group which suports those suffering from acquired brain injuries.

Joanne is noted as a Recognised Practitioner in Chambers and Partners.

Joanne graduated from Liverpool University in 1999 and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2000 in Manchester.

Joanne enjoys outdoor activities including running and swimming, along with yoga in her spare time.
