Career
Dr. Amr heads the litigation team. He oversees the dispute resolution strategy and manages all cases before all levels of the courts, including the Courts of Appeal and the Court of Cassation. He also has extensive experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, as well as supervising and mentoring lawyers and trainees within the firm.
He has over ten years of legal experience in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where he served as legal counsel to several local law firms. During this time, he provided legal advice and litigation services to a wide range of prominent entities and institutions, handling numerous cases related to restructuring, labor law, leases, commercial disputes, and service charge claims.
He joined Newton Legal in 2017 and is a certified arbitrator registered with the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre. He spent over nineteen years practicing law in Egypt before the Supreme Court of Appeal and the State Council, gaining extensive experience in civil, commercial, real estate, and criminal cases. He also served as Director of the Legal Department at the Ministry of Education and contributed to numerous legal studies in the field of civil law.

Contributed to drafting legislation and providing legal review for numerous laws and decrees for the Office of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister. Represented and advised the Gulf Aluminium Manufacturing Company (GARMCO) on restructuring and labor disputes. Advised Bahrain Islamic Bank (BISB) on lease disputes and service charge claims. Managed a wide range of commercial and civil arbitration cases for leading entities in Bahrain. Oversaw the management of restructuring, labor, lease, and commercial disputes across various jurisdictions. Served as legal counsel to several prominent law firms in Bahrain, providing litigation strategies before all types of courts.Languages
