Career
Ahmed joined the firm in 2015 and was promoted to partner in 2021.
During his tenure with the firm, Ahmed was seconded to a leading regional media network.
His main practice areas include Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate and Commercial.
He works closely with a number of leading financial institutions and government owned companies in Bahrain.
More recently, Ahmed has led the team on a number of projects, including the sale of Alhilal Life and Alhilal Takaful by Ahli United Bank to Solidarity Bahrain, nogaholding’s (now Bapco Energies) sustainability linked upsizing of its $1.6 billion Murabaha Facility to $ 2.2 billion, the development of standard terms and conditions for a leading retail bank in Bahrain, the repurchase of equity in a regional pharmaceutical company and the cross-border restructuring of a global manufacturer.
