Career

Emmanuel Moyne is the co-founder of Bougartchev Moyne Associés alongside Kiril Bougartchev in January 2017.

Emmanuel Moyne has been advising, for 28 years, large companies and their executives in complex and transnational criminal businesslaw proceedings as well as in regulatory litigation, industrial claims and civil and commercial litigation. He also assists them with their internal investigations, compliance matters, and the implementation of their AML, anti-corruption, criminal law, and SapinII due diligence. He has been involved in notorious white-collar crime matters, including sensitive financial and political matters.

Former Secretary of the Conference, Emmanuel Moyne has taught international criminal law (Montpellier) and environmental criminal law (Sceaux). He is the author of various articles relating to the European arrest warrant, the protection of business secrecy, corruption, criminal risk management, the Sapin II law, cybercrime, tax fraud and the restitution of works of art.

Recognized by the leading legal directories, Emmanuel is viewed as “deeply involved”, “strategic, available and efficient”. Emmanuel is a former Secretary of the Lawyers' Conference of the Paris Bar.

Emmanuel is a member of the American Bar Association and of the International Bar Association where he is Membership Officer of the Criminal Law Committee for 2025-2026. He is a member of the former internal investigations’ working group of the French Conseil National des Barreaux that released a Best Practices Guide for lawyers involved in internal investigations (https://www.cnb.avocat.fr/fr/actualites/presentation-du-guide-enquete-interne-du-crea) and is about to publish a book relating to internal investigation and cooperation with judicial and regulatory authorities.

He is a member of the Palais littéraire et musical.
