Career

Ben Gale is a dynamic corporate lawyer who advises a broad range of clients, from owner managed businesses to large corporates, on a wide range of domestic and international transactions in the lower mid-market.

Ben works across all sectors, but has a particular focus on the retail, leisure and hospitality sector, the testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) sector and has developed a niche area of specialism in the fast-growing online prize draws and competitions (PDC) sector.

Ben’s practice includes advising on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side), disposals, venture capital, private equity, joint ventures and reorganisations, as well as general corporate advisory work.

Ben is consistently praised by clients for going above and beyond to get deals over the line, often against very tight timelines.

Ben’s clients value his truly hands-on approach, backed up by his impressive responsiveness and availability. Ben is always willing to work around the clock or on weekends where required to keep up the momentum on a deal and to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. Ben achieves this while maintaining a calm composure and friendly manner, putting clients at ease during what would otherwise be a particularly intensive and stressful period.

Ben is extremely diligent when it comes to keeping clients up to date as a transaction progresses, both from a status and a costs perspective, avoiding any nasty surprises once the deal is over the line.

During Ben’s career he has developed an impressive network of domestic and international professional contacts, and by always thinking a few steps ahead, he’s able to pre-empt issues before they arise and bring in best-in-class advisers, delivering a seamless service for his clients.
