Maria Janicka specialises in corporate law, cross-border M&A transactions, and complex corporate restructurings. Her experience spans both leading law firms and serving as the head of the legal department at a multinational recycling and commodities group, where she oversaw dozens of subsidiaries and executed multi-million-dollar asset acquisitions in the US.

She regularly advises domestic clients on international investment strategies while assisting foreign investors with secure market entry into Poland. Maria has deep expertise in corporate finance, venture capital and private equity investment rounds, executive incentive schemes (ESOPs), and equity capital markets transactions.

Her track record includes structuring and implementing succession plans and multi-stage asset transfers worth up to 100 million PLN to family foundations, advising founders on strategic investment exits, and managing cross-border joint ventures across the technology, healthcare, and education and development services sectors.

She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łódź and is a qualified attorney-at-law (radca prawny) admitted to the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Łódź. To further align her legal expertise with corporate strategy, she also completed the Postgraduate Management Leaders Program at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
