Muneera Al-Shaya is an Associate at Meysan, specializing in dispute resolution, insolvency, and commercial litigation. With over a decade of legal experience, she has built a strong reputation for handling bankruptcy proceedings, judicial dissolutions, and large-scale asset transfers. Muneera was the youngest-ever official Receiver appointed by Kuwaiti courts and has acted as a Liquidator for companies with assets exceeding KWD 4 million. Before joining Meysan, she served as a lead attorney at one of Kuwait’s largest law firms, heading its enforcement proceedings division. She also possesses extensive expertise in oil and gas legal matters, serving as part-time in-house counsel for a leading private oil company. Her role involves advising on permits, labor relations, contract negotiations, compliance, and subcontracting disputes with public oil companies.
