Gergely has been working at EY since 2012. He first dealt with international taxation and later began to focus specifically on tax audits, tax procedures, and tax litigation.

He is a member of EY's tax litigation group and also participates in the work of the tax advisory group focusing on pharmaceutical clients.

As a tax litigator, he has extensive experience in tax audits and tax disputes involving almost all types of domestic taxes. His areas of focus include local taxes, corporate tax, special taxes, and value-added tax (VAT).

He regularly represents EY clients before tax authorities and courts. He has participated in numerous legal disputes concerning the proper exercise of rights, classification based on substance, as well as cases addressing the consistency between Hungarian and EU law. He has represented clients in several preliminary ruling procedures before the Court of Justice of the European Union. In addition to his work as a tax litigator, he also assists many clients with tax-related inquiries.
