Iván is a lawyer specializing in transactional law with over two decades of expertise in complex domestic and international projects.

Iván leads EY’s Hungarian full-service law firm, which employs more than 30 lawyers, and oversees EY’s regional law practice in neighboring countries, where he regularly advises on complex cross-border mandates.

Quite uniquely at EY and in the wider market, Iván also leads EY Hungary’s EY-Parthenon business, providing M&A, capital and debt advisory, valuation/modeling, transaction diligence, and strategic consulting services to our clients. He is passionate about maximizing the synergies created by the joint leadership of our transaction advisory and transactional law practices.

He primarily handles complex transactional and regulatory issues in the fields of banking law, financial law, M&A, capital markets law, and restructuring. He regularly advises on project and acquisition financing, capital market assignments, M&A transactions, company and portfolio acquisitions or sales, restructurings, and financial regulatory matters.

His clientele consists of large and medium-sized international and domestic companies, as well as high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Iván obtained his law degree from Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest and earned a degree in comparative law from Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg. He is a member of the Budapest Bar Association and is also a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.

Iván is a family man and the proud father of two boys.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling and is an avid sportsman, playing tennis, boxing, and engaging in adventure sports.
