Sven van Dooren has worked at Louwers IP&Tech Advocaten since September 2022, first as a legal assistant and from August 2023 as a lawyer. Previously, he gained experience at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting).

Sven specializes in IT, technology and privacy and has extensive knowledge of privacy and data protection law, including the AVG, Telecommunications Act and contractual and organizational data processing partnerships. He also advises on digital legislation, such as the Data Act, AI Act, NIS2 and DORA, and assists organizations with compliance and strategic implementation.

Sven is active as an external Data Protection Officer (FG) and is registered in the Dutch Register for Data Protection Officers under number R-FG 570.

In addition to advising, Sven engages in litigation in the areas of general contract law, IT disputes and privacy.
