Managing Associate

Basiret Çiğil is a Senior Associate in the Personal Data Protection Department at NAZALI, with expertise and experience in planning and executing personal data protection compliance projects, as well as providing consultancy, audit, and training services in the field of data protection.

Çiğil commenced her undergraduate studies at Erzincan University Faculty of Law in 2012 and pursued legal education at Masaryk University in 2014 as part of the Erasmus+ program. She graduated in 2016 and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in 2017.

Since 2016, she has provided legal consultancy services at leading law firms in Turkey, focusing on personal data protection law, e-commerce law, corporate law, litigation, and dispute resolution.

She joined NAZALI in April 2024 and currently practices at the firm.
