Managing Senior Associate

Nurefşan Kandemir graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Law in 2016 on a full scholarship, having ranked among the top 100 students nationwide in Türkiye’s university entrance examination.

Since graduation, including her mandatory legal traineeship, she has focused her practice primarily on Labor and Employment Law, providing legal consultancy to clients for over a decade within the framework of Turkish employment legislation. In this regard, she advises on a broad range of matters concerning employer–employee relations, including the legal audit of all HR-related processes from recruitment to termination, drafting and reviewing employment contracts, managing disciplinary and termination procedures, collective labor agreements, and work permit applications within the scope of the international workforce.

Kandemir joined the Nazalı Labor Law team in June 2021 as a Senior Associate and was appointed as a Managing Associate in 2023. She is fluent in English and actively supports international client relationships and cross-border matters.

In addition, in order to closely follow current developments and emerging technologies through the lens of Labor Law, she completed her LL.M. in IT and Technology Law at Bahçeşehir University in 2018.
