Career
Sanja Vukina is widely recognised for her expertise in intellectual property prosecution, enforcement, and strategic portfolio management, with a particular focus on high-stakes IP disputes and cross-border matters. She has been registered as a patent and trademark attorney before the Croatian State Intellectual Property Office since 1993, and is also a European Patent Attorney.
She regularly advises multinational clients on the protection and enforcement of IP rights across multiple jurisdictions, including litigation strategies, opposition and cancellation proceedings, and licensing arrangements. Her practice is particularly strong in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and technology-driven industries, where IP rights are central to commercial strategy.
In addition to her legal practice, she is actively involved in the development of the IP profession. She serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Croatian Association of Patent and Trademark Attorneys, is the Croatian representative before the European Patent Institute (EPI), and is a certified trainer for licensing agreements with the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI).
Sanja Vukina founded her independent practice in 1993 and subsequently established Vukina & Partneri in 2013.
