As a partner in our Sheffield team, I specialise in supporting clients through a wide range of clinical negligence claims, with a particular focus on birth injury cases, and adult and child brain and spinal cord injuries. These are often complex, sensitive cases that need both detailed legal knowledge and a clear understanding of the medical issues involved. It was this combination of medicine and law that first inspired me to follow this path, and I’m still motivated by it today.

When medical care doesn’t go as it should, the effects can be deeply upsetting and far-reaching. You may be left with unanswered questions, uncertainty about the future, and the challenge of adjusting to life after a serious injury.

I completely understand how overwhelming this period can feel. Since beginning my career in health law in 1993, I’ve supported individuals and families through these difficult moments to help them get their lives back on track.

The core of my role is making sure that those injured through medical negligence get the help they need for the long-term, from physical rehabilitation to financial support. Every case is unique, so I’m here to listen carefully and understand what matters most to you and your family. My aim is always to provide clear, balanced advice and a steady, reassuring presence throughout what can often be a tough time.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on many complex, high-value claims involving severe brain and spinal injuries. I’ve been recognised for both my technical expertise and my approach in independent legal directories.

I see it as a privilege to support people at such an important time in their lives. I’m here not just to handle the legal aspects of a claim, but to help ease some of the pressures that affect your everyday life.
