Position
I am the Head of the Commercial Dispute Resolution team, leading a national practice of specialist commercial litigation and dispute resolution lawyers. Together, we are known for handling high-value, complex matters, delivering strong outcomes for our clients across a wide range of sectors.
I understand that disputes can be disruptive, resource-intensive and, at times, uncertain. I focus on providing clear guidance and reassurance throughout the process.
I have extensive experience advising on both domestic and international disputes, including:
-
Complex commercial contract issues
-
Liability claims
-
Professional negligence matters
-
International and cross-border litigation.
Over the course of my career, I have developed a deep technical understanding of these areas, enabling me to anticipate challenges, mitigate risk, and create legal strategies that are aligned with my clients’ wider commercial objectives.
I am recognised by the UK’s leading legal directories for my technical excellence, commercial judgement, and ability to align legal and organisational strategy. I have been described in The Legal 500 as “outstanding”. I am focused on ensuring that my advice is not only legally sound, but also commercially relevant and tailored to each client’s priorities.
I regularly act for large corporates, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals, building long-term relationships based on trust, responsiveness and results.
In addition, I lead our General Counsel programme, where I provide guidance, insights, and support to in-house legal teams who are navigating increasingly complex legal and regulatory environments. This includes our recent partnership with The Lawyer magazine to produce The Leading Litigator Report, which delves into the key risk areas facing in-house lawyers in today’s challenging legal, political, and economic environment.
