Mobien is a Senior Associate within the Manchester Court of Protection team. Mobien qualified into Court of Protection in 2008 and since that time, she has been responsible for dealing with the day-to-day management of Deputyship and Trust files.

Mobien also manages the Care Advisory Team; dealing with the direct employment of support workers and issues that arise from time to time.

Over the years, Mobien has gained extensive knowledge and experience in managing clients who lack mental capacity to deal with their property and affairs. She supports people with dementia, degenerative medical conditions, and severe mental or physical disabilities including those with an acquired brain injury.

She provides support in all aspects of daily life, including day to day budgeting, purchasing and adapting properties for them, managing their investments, management of interim payments (where the matter is pre-settlement) and in particular arranging their care packages. Mobien has a sound knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and best interest decision making.

Mobien has significant experience in providing employment and HR advice to clients who directly employ their own care teams. She is particularly experienced in dealing with contractual queries, grievances and disciplinary matters. She provides considerable support to family members, care teams and case managers in order to improve the care being provided to the client.
