Costs Manager - Associate

Lorna is a member of Irwin Mitchell’s Costs Management Team and a Team Leader in the London office. She deals with the recovery of contentious legal costs and has considerable experience in this area having qualified as a Solicitor in November 2008 before starting a career in costs in May 2010.

Lorna's experience encompasses bill drafting and negotiating, preparation of Points of Dispute and Points of Reply, Part 18 requests, applications, witness statements, and some advocacy. She has experience of paying party and receiving party work with receiving party work being the majority of my workload.

Lorna tends to focus on high value, complex claims and technical matters. As a Team Leader of the London Costs Team, she also oversees the work of a team of Costs Lawyers and Costs Draftsman.
