I’m a partner in the Medical Negligence team in London, dedicated to supporting individuals and families whose lives have been affected by avoidable medical harm. I understand how traumatic these experiences can be for both the individual and those closest to them. I work closely with my clients to guide them through this difficult and confusing time, always with a focus on securing them the rehabilitation and compensation they deserve.

Between 2020 and 2025, I recovered over £173 million in damages for my clients.

Much of my work involves life‑changing injuries, including serious spinal cord damage and brain injuries caused by medical errors or substandard care.

I specialise in representing clients in cases involving:

• Children who’ve sustained injuries at birth, with particular expertise in cerebral palsy caused by HIE, hyperglycaemia and hyperbilirubinaemia (kernicterus)

• Adult and child brain injuries

• Spinal cases, particularly spinal tumours and cauda equina syndrome

• Meningitis and encephalitis

• Delayed cancer diagnoses

• Fatal cases, with expertise in maternal death claims.

I joined Irwin Mitchell in 2014, having qualified as a solicitor in 2010. Before this, I trained as a barrister and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in September 2008.

I’m an Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)-accredited Senior Litigator and also an accredited member of the Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel. These are recognitions that reflect both my experience and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for my clients.

I’ve supported families through inquests, including those where there are concerns that a death may have resulted from neglect. Alongside my legal work, I’m regularly invited to hospitals and national medical conferences to speak about patient safety and improving standards of care, with the aim of helping to prevent others from experiencing similar harm.

I am an AVMA Panel Member, Senior Litigator and Accredited Clinical Negligence Specialist with APIL. I provide regular training on best practice and guidance to medical professionals.
