Thierry Burnens advises clients in matters related to the digital economy, technology and data. He has broad knowledge on issues involving data protection, cyber security, copyright, licensing, e-commerce, social media, marketing, software, artificial intelligence.

Thierry supports clients both in an advisory (non-contentious) function and in litigation as well as in transactional matters.

Prior to joining Chabrier Avocats, Thierry worked for a major Swiss business law firm, a global consulting firm as well as for boutique law firms in Zurich and Zug.

Thierry holds a Master's Degree in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen and is a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/E).

He is admitted to practice before all Swiss courts
